A $2,450,000 price drop has been announced on the 46.6-metre Cantieri di Pisa motor yacht Balista, listed for sale with Kevin Merrigan and Kristen Klein of Northrop & Johnson.
Built of GRP by Italian yard Cantieri di Pisa and delivered in 2013, the Akhir 46 model was a finalist in the 2014 World Superyacht Awards. Her original Mark Berryman-designed interior received a "makeover" by Curtis House, in collaboration with Louis Anthony and Associates. Balista's sleek exterior profile is by Carlo Galeazzi and she was fully repainted in 2022.
Accommodation is provided for a party of up to 14 guests in seven cabins, the main-deck master sporting a king-sized bed and both a bath tub and a shower in twin his and hers bathrooms.
The VIP suite can be configured as a full-beam stateroom with a lounge or separated into two cabins, one with twin beds, ideal for children. The lower deck also has two double cabins and two twin cabins. There are quarters for a crew of 10.
Balista's main saloon – finished in Italian woodwork with marble accents and leather detailing – has a formal 12-seater dining table forward, a bar and generous amounts of "sumptuous furnishings" for entertaining.
Up a level, the skylounge boasts retractable balconies, port and starboard. This lounge seamlessly leads out to the al fresco dining area. Balista's sundeck features forward-facing C-shaped seating, a bar forward, a centrally-positioned Jacuzzi and a giant sunpad aft.
The 467GT yacht for sale has a maximum speed of 26 knots and cruising speed of 17 knots under twin MTU engines. Range is 1,800 nautical miles and she has zero-speed stabilisers. The brokers pointed out that Balista has an excellent charter history and that her 10-year ABS class survey was completed in 2023.
Lying in Palm Beach, USA, Balista is now asking $13,950,000.
