Camper & Nicholsons sells Heesen superyacht Matanthar

9 June 2014 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

News just in from Camper & Nicholsons that the 30m aluminium motor yacht Matanthar is sold in an in-house deal with Richard Higgins acting for the seller and buyer.

Built by Dutch superyacht yard Heesen to ABS class, Matanthar was launched in 2000 and comprehensively refitted in 2008. Matanthar incorporates a well planned and comfortable deck and internal layout. Accommodation is for eight guests in four well appointed and spacious staterooms, including a full beam master suite and a main deck VIP suite. All staterooms have en suite bathroom facilities. Ample deck spaces and a large flybridge create great spaces for relaxing or entertaining.

Importantly, a shallow draft of just 1.8 metres allows access to all those inviting, sheltered coves and quiet harbours. Twin 1,800 hp MTU engines provide speeds of up to 23 knots with an economic cruising speed of 14 knots.

Matanthar was asking €2.25 million.
