The 40.8-metre Benetti Oasis motor yacht Orenda has been sold with Richard Gray at IYC representing the seller and Alfred (AJ) Blackmon from Ikonic Yachts introducing the buyer.
Gray said that the price was agreed at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival and sea trials took place on the first day of the Monaco Yacht Show.
Delivered in June 2024, Orenda is the 16th unit in the Italian shipyard's hugely popular Oasis 40M series. Her exterior is owed to RWD with naval architecture by Benetti and Pierluigi Ausonio PLANA.
This is the series' most recent unit and is particularly wellness-focused, with the yacht's gym area turned into a "wellness cabin" and a large shower installed in the owner's cabin, which can be converted into a Turkish bath.
Accommodation is for up to 14 guests across five cabins, not including a flexible-use space that can be converted into a sixth cabin. There are further quarters for nine crew. Orenda's light, contemporary interiors have been styled by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture with the backlit, Onice marble bar unit a definite highlight.
Meanwhile, the terraced main deck is arranged with a transformer platform and dip pool with fixed sunpads, sunloungers and sofa seating. The sundeck features a Jacuzzi, further sunpads, a sit-up bar, modular furniture and a dining table for 10 guests. This deck also benefits from a customised "party light" system and DJ console.
On the technical side, Orenda features a Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system in line with IMO Tier III exhaust gas emissions regulations. She is also fully compliant with the relevant standards for commercial use.
The yacht is propelled by twin MAN engines for a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
Orenda was asking €23,950,000.
