The 59.3-metre Benetti motor yacht Meamina has been sold with Marine Marketing representing the buyer and Efthimis Karalis of Camper & Nicholsons representing the seller. The brokerage also extended a thanks to Captain David Cherington "for his help throughout the sales process".
Meamina was offered for sale by her original owner who took delivery of the 996GT Benetti motor yacht in 2009. She is built in steel and aluminium to ABS class, with exterior design by Stefano Natucci and interiors by Studio Massari. Her most recent refit took place in 2016.
Meamina has accommodation for 14 guests in six cabins, including a duplex full-beam master suite that benefits from an adjacent owner’s study. The VIP cabin is located up on the bridge deck, while two guest doubles and two twin cabins – each with an additional Pullman berth – are positioned on the lower deck, reached via a glass cylindrical lift or spiral staircase. There are quarters for 15 crew.
The main saloon offers comfortable sofa seating surrounding two coffee tables as well as a piano. The formal interior dining room is situated forward.
Her vast sun deck, with al fresco dining possibilities, sports an air-conditioned gym, Jacuzzi forward and ample space for sunloungers.
The yacht is powered by twin 1,770hp MTU engines giving her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. Her range is 5,000 nautical miles.
Meamina was asking €27,900,000.
