3 March 2020 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The 33.5 metre motor yacht Avella has been sold with both buyer and seller represented by James Greenwood at Worth Avenue Yachts.

Built in GRP by Italian yard Azimut to a design by Stefano Natucci, Avella was delivered in 1991 and had a thorough exterior and interior refit in 2013. Decorated with warm oak panelling and cream furnishings throughout, she sleeps up to 10 guests in four cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite and two twin cabins, both with Pullman berths and all cabins have full en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for three crew in two cabins.

Avella was asking €795,000

The main saloon has L-shaped settees to port and starboard, a coffee table, bar and an entertainment centre including a 36 inch plasma television on a rise and fall mechanism plus a stereo surround sound system. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for eight guests in leather upholstered chairs.

The large aft deck has a table comfortably seating eight guests and has an aft central stairway leading down to a broad swim platform. More outdoor entertainment and dining is available on the flybridge, offering built in upholstered seating, an outdoor cinema, a barbecue and a fridge, with optional shade provided by an electrically operated sun shade.

Twin 2,100hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 14 knots, topping out at 18 knots and her garage has plenty of storage space for water toys.

Avella was asking €795,000.
