The 57.5 metre motor yacht Lady Mona K, listed for sale by Jean-Marie Recamier at Camper & Nicholsons International, has been sold with Jukka Kaukonen at KK Superyachts introducing the buyer.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Amels to a design by Diana Yacht Design, she was delivered in 1986 and her most recent refit in 2014 has left her in immaculate condition. She boasts a classic interior by Jon Bannenberg accommodating up to 12 guests in six cabins. These consist of a master suite and a twin on the main deck, while below lie four doubles, and all have en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for 15 crew.
Formerly known as Lady Ghislaine, she offers large internal volumes including a vast main saloon complete with comfortable seating, an entertainment centre and doors to the aft deck with tables and chairs for al fresco dining. Upstairs, the upper deck features glass cladding on three sides in an observation lounge that provides stunning panoramic views.
A special feature is her split-level sun deck, which offers a range of options for relaxation including a Jacuzzi, sun pads, gymnasium and steam shower. In addition, a skylight forward lets light spill down a stairway connecting her three decks.
Powered by twin 1,510hp Caterpillar diesel engines, she cruises at 12 knots and has a range of 3,500 nautical miles. Naiad zero speed stabilisers are fitted to ensure comfort at sea and in port.
Lady Mona K was asking $14.5 million.
