The 54.4-metre motor yacht Faribana V has been sold, with Richard Higgins at Northrop & Johnson acting for the seller and Mohamad Chehab of Chehab Marine representing the buyer.

Designed inside and out by Winch Design, Faribana V was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Amels to Lloyd's class and delivered in 1998. A total interior refurbishment and exterior repaint was carried out in 2012. Accommodation is for 14 guests in seven cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite, split-level VIP suite, two doubles and two twins. She has quarters for 16 crew.

Faribana V was last asking €13,950,000.

Deck spaces are exceptional with varied comfortable and enjoyable locations to sunbathe or be entertained. The sundeck is huge, with a pool forward of a bar that boasts panoramic views and is surrounded by sun beds.

Only ever used privately and originally commissioned by and delivered to a royal family, Faribana V boasts a combination of classical interiors and excellent deck spaces. Special features include an elevator and a beauty salon. Although she is a private yacht, Faribana V has been maintained to MCA commercial standards and so could be certified as a commercial vessel with ease.

Faribana V is asking €14,700,000

Twin 1,650hp Caterpillar diesel engines give the 836GT yacht a maximum speed of 16 knots and she has a remarkable range of 3,600 nautical miles at an economical cruising speed of 13 knots.

Faribana V was last asking €13,950,000.
