The 29-metre classic motor yacht Shyraga is newly listed for sale with Bertrand Vogele of Next Yachting.
Built of steel in Germany at Abeking & Rasmussen in 1954, who were responsible for her naval architecture, the yacht was designed by Laurent Giles and has an interior by Maria Isak Nevilson.
Shyraga has been extensively serviced and refitted each season since 2019, the most recent works completed in 2023. The broker pointed out that works ran to millions of euros of investment and she has completed her five-year class inspection.
Shyraga accommodates eight in four cabins, comprising a master, VIP and two twin cabins. There are berths for a crew of up to five. The interior is finished in traditional style with rich woodwork, opening portholes and classical fixtures and fittings. Her mahogany panelled saloon is large and comfortable, featuring high-end furniture and luxury carpets. The Portuguese bridge leads to the foredeck, with twin side doors, and has all the equipment one would expect of a true ocean-going vessel. Although constantly updated, great care has been taken to maintain all the original charm of period instruments.
The large protected aft deck is an ideal place for lounging on the generous seating, or dining at the table. A further outdoor space is found on the boat deck above which, when cleared of the tenders, is a large area offering excellent al fresco relaxation and sunloungers.
The 122GT Bureau Veritas-classed, classic yacht for sale is powered by a pair of 480hp MAN engines that give her a cruising speed of 10.5 knots and maximum of 12 knots. Cruising range is 1,350 nautical miles.
Shyraga is asking €3,900,000 with VAT paid and lying in Cannes, France.
