The 60.1 metre motor yacht Paraffin has been jointly listed for sale by Burgess with Fraser.
Lloyds classed, Paraffin was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch superyacht yard Feadship to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects and delivered in 2001 with a thorough refit in 2010. MCA compliant, she accommodates 12 guests in six cabins, including an owner’s suite forward on the main deck. There is also a VIP suite, three doubles and a twin and all cabins on this yacht for sale have entertainment centres, flatscreen television sets and full en suite facilities.
Her interior is dressed in dark mahogany with a matt varnish and furnished with traditional furniture, paintings and lighting. In the main saloon are comfortable seating areas, an entertainment centre and a games table, separated from the formal dining area by a chilled mahogany and glass cabinet that can hold over 400 bottles of fine wine.
Paraffin is outfitted with a 12-person gym located on the top deck. This glass-enclosed area is air conditioned but sliding doors fore and aft open to allow a breeze through on pleasant days. After exercising, guests have access to an adjacent steam room or to a large whirlpool spa outside. In a clever bit of multitasking, the spa converts to a table that can seat 20 guests by adding a multi-section tabletop with teak inlays. Her top speed is 17 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 6,200 nautical miles at 13 knots with power coming from two 2,028hp Caterpillar 3516-B-DITA diesel engines.
Lying in South-East Asia, Paraffin is asking €28,500,000.
