50m Fitzroy sailing yacht Ohana joins market

31 January 2025 • Written by Emily Dawkins

The 49.7-metre Fitzroy sailing yacht Ohana has joined the brokerage market, listed for sale with Bruce Brakenhoff and Tomaso Polli of Edmiston.

Launched in 2012 by New Zealand-based shipyard Fitzroy Yachts, Ohana was designed by Dubois Naval Architects as a high-performance sailing yacht and she has been exactly that – to date, holding a proven regatta history. The full-custom aluminium sloop is presented to the brokerage market in "immaculate condition" according to her brokers, due to being "expertly maintained by her original owner and long-term, award-winning crew." Her last significant refit was in 2023, yet she has undergone other consistent refit and maintenance works from 2016 to 2025.

Ohana is asking €23,950,000

Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a master cabin described by the broker as a "private sanctuary" complete with teak deck balcony, office space, en suite and custom wardrobe system. While the master is located on the lower deck aft, the remaining guest cabins, comprising  two double cabins and two twin cabins (with pullman berths), are located amidships, also on the lower deck. A crew of up to eight are also accommodated on board.

Ohana's competitive hull lines make for an elongated sporting profile. Painted in grey, she is noted to be an "impressive sight out at sea". Inside, she is equally as impressive, offering a highly functional layout with a range of leisure and entertainment amenities.

The main saloon is home to a bar, cinema area and comfortable lounge area, with a striking black marble dining table situated nearby for more formal dining against a backdrop provided by large starboard windows. A glass floating staircase connects the dining and main saloon areas while providing access to the flybridge.

Decorated in light woods and cream soft furnishings with a hint of yellow (in keeping with the hint of yellow on her exterior), her interiors are flooded with light by an extensive use of glazing throughout.

Aside from her high-performance racing capabilities,Ohana is also a popular charter vessel

Outside, her main deck is complete with an al fresco dining and lounging area, while a spacious sunbed area lies adjacent to the swimming platform for another relaxing setting. The flybridge features two helm stations alongside additional sofas and sunbeds for enjoying the open-air surroundings.

The 370 GT yacht for sale features a fixed bulb keel, and when under power can reach maximum speeds of 14 knots and cruising speeds of 12 knots due to a 1,399Hp Caterpillar engine, with a range of 3,400 nautical miles. The high-performance sloop is also equipped with a 5.8-metre tender in addition to a range of water toys for all the family.

Currently lying in Livorno, Italy, Ohana is asking €23,950,000.
