The 42.2 metre motor yacht enigmatically named X, listed for sale by Fernando Nicholson at Camper & Nicholsons International, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Alain Auvare of Onboard Yachting.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Sanlorenzo to a design by Francesco Paszkowski, X was delivered in 2016 as one of the yard’s 460EXP series. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five cabins consisting of a main deck master suite, two VIP suites and two twins, all with entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities. A further twin is currently serving as a gym but could easily be converted back into a sixth cabin. Three additional cabins sleep seven crew.
The interior design, also by Paszkowski, includes furnishings with Minotti design pieces, while the main deck and upper deck saloons are both equipped with large dining tables and ample seating for up to fourteen guests.
The 460EXP is classified as “Green Plus” by RINA and is able to remain anchored for long periods of time without having to make use of generators — thus diminishing emissions, vibration and noise.
At anchor, the large teak deck at the stern becomes a large recreational area, where the owners and guests can sunbathe, enjoy the sea, or swim against the current in the large infinity pool. The stern area also offers a complete beach club, with a bar, sauna and a dive space.
Twin 1,320hp Caterpillar diesel engines drawing on 50,000 litre fuel tanks allow an extensive range of 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots and she is fitted with zero-speed stabilisers.
X was asking €18,000,000.
