BOAT International is delighted to announce that the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) has returned as the 2024 annual partner of the Owners’ Club.
This marks the third year that the BTA has collaborated with the Owners’ Club, which has more than 350 members representing over 20 different nationalities. Brought together through their shared passion for yachting, members are invited to an exclusive calendar of Owners’ Club events worldwide, including parties at the Monaco Yacht Show and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
After a change to Bermuda’s charter regulations in 2019, which made it possible for yachts more than 24 metres to receive charter and cruising permits, the island has been keen to attract superyachts back to its shores. With more than 800 nautical miles of ocean separating Bermuda from the Caribbean, the BTA is keen to educate the superyacht community that despite its petite size the island is a superb cruising destination in its own right. With activities on offer ranging from spectacular reef dives and whale watching to indulging in freshly caught lobster on one of the island’s famous pink-sand beaches, there is plenty to keep all generations entertained.

In 2024, Bermuda stands as a premier destination for sports enthusiasts, showcasing an exhilarating sporting calendar that includes globally acclaimed regattas such as SailGP and the Newport Bermuda Race.
