Fine Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille has collaborated with the Polo Club St Tropez on two new limited edition skeleton watches. Launched to honour the third year of partnership between the brand and sports club, the new release includes the RM 029 Polo Club Saint-Tropez and the RM 07-01 Polo Club Saint-Tropez, the first ladies timepiece to be added to the range.
The RM 07-01 has been created in a limited edition of 30 pieces and features a stunning lapis lazuli dial and matching blue rehaut, all set off by a sleek white ceramic case. Boasting an in-house designed calibre CRMA2 skeletonised movement with a 50 hour power reserve, the RM 07-01 is one of the highest performance ladies watches ever created by Richard Mille.
The RM 029, on the other hand, has been created in a limited run of 50 and offers a black ceramic and carbon case engraved with the Polo Club St Tropez logo to the back. Featuring a 48mm dial with upper and lower rehauts in white and blue, an automatic calibre RMAS7 movement and an oversized date mechanism, the classic tonneau shape of the watch make it a chic choice for any sporting gentleman.
The watches have been launched to coincide with the re-opening of the Polo Club St Tropez, which has recently undergone major refurbishments to make it a must-visit when venturing on shore during your Mediterranean superyacht vacation. The club now boasts 258 new stables, luxury groom and team accommodation and a stunning backdrop of fields and forests - ideal for the highly anticipated Richard Mille Cup in August.
“We are proud to be the official timekeeper of the Polo Club Saint-Tropez and excited to release these two new editions into the Richard Mille collection,” says Peter Harrison, CEO Richard Mille Europe, Middle East and Africa. “The Polo Club and Richard Mille have the same luxury principles and the watches represent cutting edge design, technical brilliance and dedication for the best in their respective fields.”
