Motor yacht Mim new to the charter fleet

The 43.89 metre motor yacht Maghreb V was sold in December 2014 and, following an interior refit, has been renamed Mim and will be available for charter in New England and the Bahamas from June 20th.

Built in aluminium by US superyacht yard Burger Boat, she was delivered in 2006 as Mirgab V. ABS classed and MCA compliant, she was designed by the yard’s in-house team. Special features include an elevator and wheelchair accessibility. Accommodation is for 14 guests in seven cabins and 10 crew in five cabins. Guest accommodation consists of a master suite, four double cabins and two twin cabins, all with en suite bathroom facilities.

This yacht for charter has a huge saloon with almost full height picture windows. To starboard there is a pair of glass doors opening out onto a drop-down balcony over the sea. At the forward end there is a large dining table with seating for 12 guests and low height storage cabinets for china. The large main saloon has L-shaped couches forward and to port with four comfortable chairs surrounding a large coffee table. This area has an African cherry wood finish on the walls and furniture with traditional detailing.

Twin 2,735hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Comfort at sea and in port are assured by Quantum zero speed stabilisers. Water toys include two tenders, two Waverunners, two Seabobs and six sets of scuba diving gear, plus a range of towables.

Mim is available for charter through Worth Avenue Yachtsat $150,000 per week plus expenses.
