A 25 metre Ferretti motor yacht Green Whisper has hit a reef while cruising off the island of Paxos in Greece.
The Port Authorities of Corfu and Paxos were informed of the stricken vessel on July 3 and sent three patrol boats to the scene to offer assistance. The vessel had begun taking on water after coming into contact with the Ýfalos Panagía reef between the island of Paxos and mainland Greece.
The yacht has been identified as a Ferretti 830 model named Green Whisper.
A statement by the local coast guard read: "The beached vessel was observed to tilt due to the inflow of water and a floating barrier was installed to prevent pollution, while light buoys were also installed on the bow and stern for the safety of navigation."
There were three people on board at the time who were rescued and taken to the port of Gaiou, Paxos. No injuries have been reported.
A preliminary investigation is now underway by the local port authority.
