The 25.92 metre Vismara VM80 sailing yacht Moka III has been spotted on sea trials in Italy after she was launched at the Viareggio shipyard last month.
The VM80 was designed by Vismara in collaboration with Lucio Micheletti and is built from a carbon sandwich with a carbon mast and furling boom. She has a retractable keel with a draft of 2.5 metres for navigating shallow waters or ports, that can be extended to four metres for offshore sailing. She was launched in May and the ceremony was attended by her new owners.
Sailing manoeuvres are handled by four electric winches: two in the cockpit and two forward of the deckhouse. The cockpit is divided into two areas with a double L-shaped sofa and two folding dining tables for lunches served al fresco.
The interior welcomes guests with the main saloon and a large dinette with two sofas and a television. Large hull windows and a window in the deckhouse offer guests 180 degrees while comfortably seated on the sofa. There are four guest cabins on board: a master suite forward, two doubles and a bunk bed.
A large electric opening hatch, mounted on the transom, can accommodate a three-metre tender and also doubles as a swimming platform when the boat is at anchor.
The shipyard has described the new launch as "a Bentley of the sea that will surely give its expert owners great results in sporting events and comfortable long Mediterranean voyages."
