Fraser has launched a new charter initiative offering "the ultimate diving experience" on board the 24 metre expedition yacht U Boat Navigator.
The Deep Blue Experience is tailored towards adventure-seeking guests looking to explore the underwater world, from forgotten shipwrecks to volcanoes scattered throughout the Mediterranean.
The 24 metre expedition vessel was built in 2008 for a family of divers and is offered for charter fresh from an extensive refit in autumn 2020 completely geared towards the diving experience.
U Boat Navigator is home to two Triton submarines capable of diving 1000 metres down. The first is a three-person custom-built Triton 3300/3, the same model used to film the BBC’s award-winning Blue Planet II, while the second is a smaller, one-person Triton 3300/1 working as a support sub.
The vessel is also packed with professional scuba for all six guests, including a decompression chamber, full dive centre with gas mixing capability and wet diving bell and hydraulic crane. There’s a 5.7 metre RIB and a Sea-Doo Spark Jet Ski for those who prefer to keep their head above water.
Accommodation is for up to six guests split between a double master suite and two twin cabins, with a crew of six on hand including a full-qualified sub-pilot. An al fresco dining area allows guests to make the most of the weather during their charter, while a light-filled main saloon provides a perfect spot to kick back after a day exploring the seabed.
U Boat Navigator is managed for charter Fraser and will be available all year round in the Mediterranean and can be booked by the month, week or the day with price on application.
