Italian yard Tankoa Yachts has announced the sale of the first 55 metre hull in its T55 Sportiva range.
The sale was announced six months after the shipyard revealed the Linea Sportiva series during a live Zoom event. Designed by Luca Dini, the new line also includes models of 45 and 65 metres in length.
Stand out features on board the T55 Sportiva, which will begin construction shortly, include a large beach club with a swimming pool that links the main and lower decks into a single area of “pure enjoyment”, according to the yard. The terraced aft deck hosts a swimming pool and provides access to a spa zone on the lower deck.
Accommodation is for a total of 12 guests in six cabins, including a master stateroom on the main deck and five ensuite guest cabins on the lower deck. The master’s cabin boasts an open-air chaise longue and Jacuzzi as well as a private sauna to starboard. There is also access to a bridge deck that can be used as an open-air cinema when the yacht is at anchor.
“We believed in this new project right from the start,” said Giuseppe Mazza, sales and marketing manager. “In addition to the beautiful external lines, the Sportiva 55 has some design solutions never before seen in a yacht in her class, such as the large window with an “under and over the water” view located in the fitness room adjacent to the beach club. Thanks to his experience and skill, Luca Dini has managed to integrate all the best features into a 55 metre yacht while remaining under 500 GT.”
The T45 Sportiva and T65 Sportiva are still under development.
