The first unit in Tankoa Yachts' T450 series, Go, has been delivered to her owner. According to BOATPro, the 45-metre superyacht has now departed Imperia, a coastal city and commune in Liguria, Italy.
Go was was sold to a "young" North American client in late 2021, represented by Boomer Jousma and Vittoria Santarone of the Italian Yachting Group. She has an exterior design courtesy of Giorgio M. Cassetta.
Accommodation is across a main deck master cabin and five guest cabins on the lower deck. The owner requested several customisations to the model, including larger windows on the main deck and a longer upper deck saloon. These alterations increased the interior volume from 435GT to 450GT.
Up top, the sundeck has a hydromassage tub and shaded dining area, while the upper deck is fitted out with a dedicated gym and a fire pit in the bow. Other leisure highlights include a beach club with opening side platforms that wrap around the stern and a sliding sunpad that closes the swimming pool during navigation.
"Go is a great addition to the Tankoa core fleet of superyachts and it is an incredibly flexible platform on which we can create semi-custom yachts,” said Claudio Corvino, sales and business development manager for the Americas and Asia-Pacific. "This first unit is a statement of what Tankoa can offer even at this size, and the final result was made possible by great teamwork between the shipyard, the young and enthusiastic client and Giorgio M. Cassetta’s studio."
A second unit has been sold and is currently under construction.
