Christensen has launched its 50m custom superyacht D'Natalin IV.
Originally known as Project C-2014, she was built for an experienced yacht owner, as you can tell from her name. Although D'Natalin IV's hull is the US builder's standard 50-meter form, the Christensen business model is that no two boats will look alike. And with her deep blue topsides, that is certainly the case.
'We are excited to see the D’Natalin IV sitting in the water perfectly on its lines as designed,' says Joe Foggia, CEO Christensen. 'The blue hull is flawless in its finish and really strikes the attention of anyone who sees it. We are appreciative of the owners who chose Christensen to build their fourth superyacht.'
The interior, designed by Carol Williamson and Associates is formal and classical with fluted walnut columns and raised panel joinery in a high-gloss finish. There is lavish amount of stone aboard as well, all cut in the yard's new state-of-the-art cutting facility.
Christian Blakewell of Merle Wood & Associates managed the build. Undergoing sea trials next, D'Natalin IV is due to be delivered in May 2014.
Christensen recently reported the sale of a 50m custom series superyacht during Miami boat show.
