Vietnamese shipyard StellarPM has announced the sale of the second unit in its StellarONE108 (ST108) motor yacht series. A raised pilothouse model, the 33-metre project was commissioned by a buyer who has been "closely following the progress" of the first unit, which is scheduled for delivery to Florida later this year.
In fact, the second ST108 is "near-identical" to the first, according to StellarPM founder Chris Holmes, though customisations are yet to be disclosed. As with the first hull, the buyer has opted for a steel and aluminium configuration rather than all-aluminium, as well as custom interiors by Unzile Acar Interiors. Naval architecture for the series is owed to Ginton Naval Architects.
At the time of the model's launch, Holmes asserted that the ST108 would "wake up" the market. "What sub-$10m yacht of this size gives Lloyd’s certified all-metal construction, Northern European superyacht quality engineering and finish, teak decks all-round, Tier III CAT C32 engines, an on-deck master with its own foldout balcony, a beach club and tender garage and so much more?"
A high-volume interior is granted by an 8.1-metre beam, offering five guest cabins and three crew cabins. The layout includes a full-beam main deck master suite with lower deck accommodation comprising two equal-sized queen staterooms, a VIP suite with a king-size bed and a twin cabin.
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, the model is expected to reach a maximum speed of 14 knots and a range of 3,400 nautical miles.
The second ST108 will be delivered in early 2027 and based in the Western Mediterranean.
