The second WiderCat 92 has been launched at the shipyard's facilities in Fano, Italy and named Atali. The 28-metre catamaran now joins her sistership Acali, which was launched in January of this year.
Atali shares the same hybrid propulsion system as the first unit, as well as an interior and exterior by Luca Dini Design & Architecture in collaboration with Wider Centro Stile. On bright, sunlit days, the yacht's 75 square metres of solar panels ensures full energy self-sufficiency when anchored, according to the shipyard.
Accommodation is across four cabins including a master suite on the main deck forward with a private foredeck lounge, two en suite bathrooms and a "personalised wardrobe arrangement". The remaining guest cabins are situated on the lower deck. Interiors are light, earthy and natural, with the owner's wife said to have given Atali a "personal touch" by selecting the interior details and décor herself.
On the bridge deck, Atali features a sunpad in the bow and a lounge area with a hi-lo table in front of the wheelhouse. The open aft deck provides a dining setup with an integrated Terppanyaki-style grill for family cooking. Meanwhile, the beach club offers 67 square metres of space when the bulwarks are deployed and is arranged with a wet bar and a garage for Jet Skis, while the tender is stowed on the swim platform. This area can be directly accessed from the two aftmost VIP cabins.
"Beyond the innovative technology and masterful design, this second launch shows that the spacious and flexible catamaran platform of the WiderCat 92 offers owners ample opportunity to tailor the yacht to their needs, personalising its style," said Marcello Maggi, head of W-Fin Sarl.
The yacht is powered by twin electric motors delivering 500kWh each and two 349kW variable speed generators for electrical energy production. This allows Atali to cruise in Zero Emission Mode (ZEM) with a range of 27 nautical miles at six knots in complete silence, or 14 hours autonomy on battery power at anchor.
Three additional units in the WiderCat 92 series are currently under construction.
