This multi award-winning superyacht was built by Wider Yachts in Italy to a design by Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design. Accolades include wins at the 2016 World Superyacht Awards and 2017 Showboats Design Awards, as well as awards from Robb Report and the Monaco Yacht Show.
Launched in 2016, the 47.05m BARTALI is the yard’s Wider 150 model – a one-off design hailed for its clever use of space, interior volume, and operational efficiencies.
There’s accommodation for 10+1 guests in five cabins. The master suite is located on the main deck and boasts a private balcony as well as an adjacent owner’s study and very spacious walk-in wardrobe. The guest accommodation is on the lower deck and comprises two VIP suites and two guest cabins. There’s separate accommodation for a complement of up to 10 crew.
BARTALI’s interior is by IdeaItalia and the modern look carries all the sophisticated flair of Italian style. The comfortable main saloon is open plan to the interior dining space, and a second lounge resides on the deck above.
Exterior spaces aboard BARTALI include the spacious sun deck with its Jacuzzi and sun loungers, a foredeck lounge equipped with a cinema setup, an alfresco dining area to aft on the upper deck, and a beach club at the stern with two side balconies.
Constructed in Aluminium, BARTALI has a diesel electric propulsion system that minimises noise and vibration, and offers a significantly reduced fuel consumption – resulting in a lessened environmental impact.
The yacht has a trans-Atlantic range, at-anchor stabilisers, and a top speed of 14 knots. A complete repaint was undertaken in 2022/23, leaving BARTALI’s sleek exterior looking better than new.
BARTALI has a large tender garage which currently carries a waterski boat, and this innovative space transforms to become an indoor seawater pool when the tender is deployed. A carbon section stowed in the stern hatch is then fitted over part of the tender which, in conjunction with the fold-down platforms to port and at the stern, creates a beach club of some 90sq.m.
The only yacht of this size to feature such a system, it’s a standout aspect of this incredible design. A second garage forward has space for an additional 5.5m rescue tender and water toys.
Though built to comply with MLC regulation for commercial use, BARTALI has only been used privately to date. Offered for sale by her original owner, in immaculate condition and with low engine hours, BARTALI is arguably one of the most desirable vessels of this size currently available.
