New interior renderings of RMK Marine's 49.9-metre explorer yacht Aries, created by British studio Design Unlimited, have been released by Ocean Independence. Delivery is expected in 2025.
Aries is currently under construction at the shipyard's facility in Istanbul, with the keel already laid. Hot Lab is responsible for the explorer's rugged profile, while the layout and interior design can still be fully customised according to the owner's wishes.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a full-beam master's suite. Interior renderings reveal a muted cream and brown colour palette featuring different textures, alongside ample space for dining and lounging.
Hot Lab’s marketing and strategy manager Antonio Romano described Aries as "a real explorer, hard and raw", which is "designed for long voyages in the remotest areas of the world". He added: "At the same time, it is perfectly at home on a relaxing cruise of the French Riviera, hosting numerous guests."
Key to Aries’ design is the capability to carry and store large tenders, which RMK cited as a "major request" from prospective owners. Fold-down bulwarks allow the tender garage to be converted into a spacious beach club once the tenders are launched.
The superyacht features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and will have a range of 5,000 nautical miles. Owners can choose between a traditional diesel engine or a mixed diesel-electric engine with lower fuel consumption.

Aries is currently listed for sale with Ocean Independence.
According to BOATPro, the shipyard has three yachts currently under construction, including the soon-to-be-delivered "family explorer" Seven Seas.
