Italian shipyard Ocean King has released interior details of the second unit in its 40.4-metre Doge 400 GT series, which is scheduled for launch in April 2025.
Built in steel and aluminium, the model's exterior is by Design aLOT with interiors by BURDISSOCAPPONI. The model boasts a range of over 5,000 nautical miles with an "advanced engineering system typically found on commercial vessels".
Accommodation is across five cabins, including an owner's cabin on the main deck with a wooden sauna and a dark-tiled Turkish bath. The cabin also features a sculptural Rosso Levanto marble sink by Antonio Lupi. There are further quarters for seven crew.
The main saloon is arranged with a U-shaped sofa, central television and "entrance armchairs" which were specifically requested by the owner. A "distinctively Italian taste" meant that the freestanding furniture recommended to the owner is by Italian designers, including Twiggy sofas and armchairs made by Minotti from "exclusive" Sahco Kvadrat fabric.
"The owner was the perfect interlocutor, aligned with our desire to achieve, through rigorous design and integration of the most technical and functional components, a product that retains its elegance over time," said BURDISSOCAPPONI. "In pursuing this goal, we had the opportunity to work with some of the most important design brands, from Minotti to Antonio Lupi, from B&B Italia to Tribù, from GT Design to Kvadrat."
Other leisure highlights include a spacious beach area with two fold-out balconies, an integrated gym and a tender garage.
The first unit is scheduled to hit the water this month.
