Baglietto has announced the sale of the ninth hull in its increasingly popular T52 series, scheduled for delivery in 2026. The sporty, 52-metre yacht (known as hull 10261) is the second signed with Aberton Yachts, who will act as project manager during the yacht's construction.
Designed with "close contact with the sea" in mind, the T52's exterior is owed to Francesco Paszkowski while the interiors are styled by Margherita Casprini. The T52's main highlight is its open stern, three-level beach club, which has "become a hallmark of Baglietto's new course". The yacht's swimming pool can easily be concealed thanks to an up-down moving flooring system that further extends the available deck surface when the pool is not being used.
On the upper deck, the floor-to-ceiling windows are openable on three sides, creating an "al fresco" lounge arranged with both a conversation and dining area. The sundeck measures approximately 24 metres, with the shipyard describing it as "unmatched on a vessel of this size" and inspired by Baglietto's traditional displacement yachts.
"In just three years we have sold as many as nine examples of this model, including two with hybrid motorization – a success that greatly highlights the shipyard's ability to interpret the needs of an ever-evolving market and look to the future, without ever betraying its DNA," said Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto. "The strength of this project, I believe, lies precisely in this consistency; in the ability to easily combine clearly recognisable stylistic features coming from the brand's tradition with the need for a contemporary yacht, with a strongly distinctive personality and in step with the times."
Hull 10261 is equipped with two MTU 12V2000 M86 engines that will push her to a maximum speed of 17 knots.
According to BOATPro, Baglietto has 14 yachts currently under construction. This includes the first hull in its new, Stefano Vafiadis-designed DOM 115 series.
