The 138.8-metre Lürssen superyacht Luminance has been delivered. She was last spotted leaving the yard for her sea trials in April 2023.
Construction on the mammoth project began in 2018 but few details have been revealed since. She is ranked number 11 in the largest yachts in the world and is the seventh-largest project ever built by Lürssen.
Exterior design is the work of Espen Øino and marks the 30th collaboration between the designer and the shipyard. The pair have worked on numerous 100-metre-plus projects including the 136-metre Flying Fox, 156-metre Dilbar and 135.5-metre Crescent. The interior design is the work of Francois Zuretti but details remain a closely guarded secret.
Other major projects currently underway at Lürssen include the 122-metre Project Jag, last seen on sea trials in October 2023 and the 142-metre Project Alibaba, which was launched in December 2023.
The bare hull of Project Jassj was also recently sighted during her technical launch at Lürssen's Rendsburg facility.
