Boutique refit, brokerage and management firm Seara Maritime has offered a first look inside the 34-metre motor yacht Loana. The Baglietto build completed an eight-month refit last year and joined the brokerage market shortly after, listed with Seara Maritime and Fraser.
Works including a refresh of her Francesco Paszkowski-designed interiors, in which the hull and superstructure were treated, faired and painted white, as well as several major interior upgrades.
The main saloon has new carpets, couches and fabrics, embracing a lighter, airy colour palette, as well as a larger, mirror-backed television that increases the sense of space. The dining room has been similarly overhauled, now featuring a mirror-backed wall complemented by a smaller, rounded table.
Accommodation is for 10 guests and six crew, with all the lower deck cabins now benefitting from new mattresses and en suites with "new Corian finishes".
The soft goods have also been replaced across the exterior decks, with all fabrics switched from beige to a light blue colour. All teak decking has been replaced on the sundeck, while several wooden surfaces, including fixed furniture on the main deck, were replaced or upgraded.
On the technical side, Loana has had new generators installed and her hydraulic systems and pumps overhauled, while her main engines – a pair of 2,775hp MTUs – underwent comprehensive maintenance for a new maximum speed of 29.5 knots. Exterior lighting was also upgraded, including LED installations across ladders, staircases and the stern.
Delivered in 2006 by Italian yard Baglietto, Loana is one of eight 34M models on the water today.
Seara Maritime also undertook the refit of the 61-metre Omnia in 2023. A former Amels pilot vessel turned luxury superyacht, works lasted 14 months and totalled $14 million.
