The 28.3-metre Johnson motor yacht Dumb Ass has been delivered. She was commissioned by a five-time Johnson owner and will now spend the summer cruising Florida and the Caribbean.
Dumb Ass belongs to the Skylounge 93 series, which is the Taiwanese shipyard's largest model to feature its signature dual level vertical windows.
Naval architecture is by Dixon Yacht Design, with key numbers including a draft of 2.1 metres, a 7.2-metre beam and a displacement of 85 tons.
Accommodation is across four cabins, comprising a main deck master with "wraparound" windows, a full-beam VIP cabin amidships and two cabins aft. Interiors are light and airy, panelled in high gloss sycamore and stone sole.
Dumb Ass was built to a high specification with twin CAT engines, twin 65kW generators, a Seakeeper 35 Gyro, fin stabilisers, a garage outfitted for scuba diving and a hydraulic swim platform.
She was sold in 2022 by Jeff Stanley of Gilman Yachts, who represented the buyer.
