ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has announced that its first Sportiva 66 has entered outfitting in Ancona, Italy. The 66-metre superyacht was commissioned by an American owner, with delivery slated for 2026.
Exterior design is by Nuvolari Lenard, while naval engineering has been developed in house and inspired by the shipyard's 66.4-metre Okto.
"Revisited with a modern twist, its design goes beyond being true to the style elements of the ISA Yachts brand," explained a spokesperson for the shipyard. "An extremely sporty profile, with a set back superstructure and a marked and original reverse bow, lends a captivating look to the instantly recognisable identity of this project."
Accommodation is across six cabins, including an owner's cabin with a fixed balcony combined with a fold-down platform. A crew of 15 people can be accommodated across eight cabins, in addition to the captain's cabin on the upper deck.
Highlights include a "large, scenic swimming pool" on the aft deck, a second custom pool on the sundeck and a gym.
The owner was introduced by Steve Doyle of Apollo Yachts. Ian Kerr of Kerr Maritime is the surveyor appointed by the client for the technical specifications and the supervision of the construction.
Equipped with two MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines, the yacht will be able to reach a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
This follows the news that ISA Yachts' largest superyacht to date had entered interior outfitting.
