Taiwanese yard Horizon Yachts has delivered the 37.2-metre Miss Michelle to her owners in the United States.
The ninth Horizon RP122 (raised pilothouse) model, Miss Michelle is characterised by her dual helm stations – though she also carries the "high-performance, piercing bow" typical of the shipyard's fast displacement series, providing top speeds of 18 knots.
Accommodation is across four cabins, including a full-beam lower deck VIP cabin and a full-beam master suite on the main deck. A king-sized bed occupies the latter, complemented by a white onyx headboard, walk-in closets, a vanity and a mosaic his-and-hers en suite. Miss Michelle has been designed for flexibility and as such, the beach club can actually be converted into an additional cabin complete with a sofa bed, television and integrated overhead shower.
Interiors are "pure white" – though accented with darker woods such as ebony and walnut – and incorporate marble flooring and fully custom Lutron lighting. The main saloon is arranged with sofa seating and an "owner-specified" entertainment system beneath a fold-up television, alongside a concealed wet bar. Formal dining can be found adjacent to the lounge area, with a custom walnut table and carved-glass light shade as its centrepiece.
At the heart of Miss Michelle is the raised pilothouse, which features a custom Stidd helm chair and a slightly elevated nook with an L-shaped sofa and table. Forward and offset to starboard is the second helm station, with a television and six-seater "sports bar" positioned aft.
Meanwhile, the main deck aft features additional seating, a high-gloss table and a coffee machine stowed away to starboard, with an LED television and subwoofer providing an alternative entertainment space.
Other model highlights include a foredeck Jacuzzi and the flybridge, which has modular seating, a table and a projector screen for a "multipurpose dining and entertainment area".
According to BOATPro, Horizon Yachts has 12 units on order or actively under construction, the largest of which measures 27.2 metres.
