Taiwanese builder Horizon Yachts has launched the fourth unit in the 28 metre Horizon FD92 tri-deck series at its Kaohsiung facilities.
The yacht is due to undergo sea trials after which it will be delivered to its owner in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Constructed in GRP, the FD92 was penned inside and out by studio Cor D. Rover Design while the naval architecture was developed by the yard.
According to the yard, the yacht’s design was driven by “client customisation requests”, with the owner working closely alongside Horizon’s in-house design team on the interior.
Fully opening doors lead from the aft deck to the main saloon, which features an L-shaped sofa and large coffee table. Forward is a large dining area that seats twelve guests, given an al fresco feel by the sliding doors on each side.
Like other yachts in the FD series, the master suite is situated forward on the main deck, while four additional en suite staterooms are found on the lower deck for a total accommodation of 10. Crew quarters for five are positioned aft of the engine room.
Elsewhere the beach club hosts a convertible settee and a swim platform aft, while the sky lounge opens aft to a bar and Jacuzzi with its own counter area and barstools.
The owner plans to use the yacht to cruise the Bahamas with family and friends.
