Dutch yard Heesen has revealed the first details of the in-build Project Agnetha, which belongs to the shipyard's 55m Steel Class series. The superyacht is for sale with delivery available for Q2 of 2025.
"The beauty of buying this kind of superyacht is that the shipyard has taken care of all the technical aspects and has perfected the platform," explained Heesen CCO Mark Cavendish. "So when clients join the project, they can enjoy the fun part of building a superyacht, focusing on all those details that will make the yacht truly theirs."
Project Agnetha's exterior design is by Omega Architects, with an "indoor-outdoor" focus seen best in the absence of window mullions and superstructure pillars. She also sports the series' trademarked "shark tooth" motif on her wheelhouse overhang.
Stepping indoors, the charter-friendly layout features accommodation for up to 12 guests across six cabins. This includes a VIP suite on the bridge deck and an owner’s suite on the main deck, arranged with separate his and hers dressing rooms, bathrooms and a veranda. There are further quarters for 13 crew.
Interior renderings reveal dark wood accents and a warm, earthy colour palette in shades of cream, blue and brown, styled by Luca Dini Design and Architecture.
Leisure highlights include a sundeck bar and Jacuzzi and ample al fresco dining and lounging options across three decks –including the swim platform which can be arranged with sunloungers when at anchor. There is also storage for two tenders in the bow.
CEO Niels Vaessen said: "The Heesen 55-metre Steel Class represents the best example of intelligent superyacht construction. Over the past decade, we have focused on excellence and have achieved it, developing and refining the platform while optimising our supply chain and creating strategic collaborations with suppliers."
He added: "This approach means we can deliver shortened delivery timelines, extensive personalisation, and –of course – Dutch craftsmanship of the highest standard."
Project Agnetha features an "ultra-efficient" and comfortable fast displacement hull combined with two MTU engines for a top speed of 15.5 knots.
The news follows the delivery of the 50-metre ALP. This unit is also an Omega Architects design but features a cosy, contemporary interior by Cristiano Gatto.
