Chinese builder HeySea has recently delivered the first hull in its new Asteria 108 motor yacht series. Called Contessa, she is yard's new flagship.
Built in composite, this new series has a length of 33.1 metres. Developped in collaboration with a yet-to-be-named Dutch designer, the Asteria 108 has a sporty exterior styling. The contemporary interior is decorated with teak and wenge wood, and the main deck offers a large saloon aft of the raised pilothouse and a dedicated dining area forward. The four cabins are on the lower deck, including a full-beam master, a VIP and two twins.
In the standard version, the Asteria 108 is powered by twin 1,081kW Caterpillar engines, giving a top speed exceeding 21 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. The other equipment follows European standards with twin Onan generators, Cruisair air conditioning, Seekeeper gyro stabilizers and more.
Following successful sea trials, the first Asteria 108 was shipped and delivered to Singapore. The shipyard has already recorded three other orders for this series, complementing the success of its HeySea 82 series, which has exceeded its 20th order this summer.
