Feadship has revealed its latest 80-metre superyacht project Thalassa, named after the Greek goddess of the beach. Delivery is scheduled for 2026.
Details are scarce but the shipyard has made note of Thalassa's "extraordinary beach club", which spans 165 square metres and features the largest openings ever built by Feadship. Exterior design is owed to Malcolm McKeon while the interiors will be styled by Milanese studio M2Atelier. Naval architecture will be completed by Feadship De Voogt.
Thalassa will be able to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Other key numbers include a 3.6-metre draught, a beam of 13.1 metres and a fuel capacity of 194,000 litres.
This follows the launch of Feadship's solar-powered superyacht, Project 713. The yacht also harnesses HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil), making it another important milestone in Feadship's roadmap to net-zero yacht building by 2030.
