Feadship’s future flagship, the 118.8 metre Project 821, has seen the light of day for the first time.
The bare hull was rolled out of the construction shed at NMC shipyard near the Dutch city of Rotterdam this morning. She will most likely make her way to Royal Van Lent for outfitting.
Shrouded in secrecy, the yacht’s hull gives little of her final design away. She features a tapered upper deck and generous beach club, with a space that could host a swimming pool on the main deck aft.
The yacht is on track to become the flagship of the Feadship fleet, usurping the current flagship, 110 metre Anna, and overshadowing the 118 metre in-build Project 1010 by just one metre.
It comes after Feadship sent 42.5m Callisto onto the water last week in Aalsmeer.
The yacht is due for completion in 2024.
