Italian shipyard Falcon Yachts has announced a new, 37.5-metre model known as the FY38. The yacht is engineered for long-range, oceanic voyages and marks the beginning of a series of models slated for release later this year.
Exterior design is owed to Horacio Bozzo, characterised by a sturdy bow, symmetrical ladders and a beach area with transom to maintain the yard's "traditional aesthetic".
Accommodation is across five cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck. Massari Design has been brought in for the interiors, with preliminary renderings revealing the use of teak, a soft, pastel colour palette and accents of Italian marble.
An important communal space is the upper deck, arranged with an outdoor cinema and ample space for recreation – including a Jet Ski area with removable crane and a skylounge. The garage is located on the main deck forward to ensure minimal disruption during tender operations.
Twin Caterpillar C18 engines will propel the yacht to a maximum speed of 13.5 knots. Other key specs include an 8.2-metre beam, a volume of 360GT and draft of 2.5 metres.
This follows the sale of a 45-metre custom project named Stella Azure. The yacht is also under construction at Falcon Yachts' Pisa site, with delivery to her "experienced owners" set for 2025.
