Australian yard Echo Yachts has revealed a new series of active-foiling trimaran sports yachts ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show.
The yard has teamed up with multihull design specialists One2Three Naval Architects on the range, which is available in 28, 30, 38 and 40 metre models.
Echo has presented the 38 metre and 40 metre models as flagships of the new high speed cruising range, with both yachts capable of hitting top speeds of 32 knots and 40 knots respectively.
The 38 metre model will be fitted with a twin-engine twin-screw propulsion package, while the 40 metre model has a premium triple engine water jet propulsion upgrade.
Key features include large interior and exterior guest areas, with accommodation for eight guests and eight crew. The models will also feature a helipad and a shallow draft of less than 1.6 metres to enable access to remote anchorages and lagoons.
The new concept comes after Echo Yachts delivered the 84 metre trimaran White Rabbit last year, the world’s biggest trimaran superyacht in the world.
