Darnet Design Presents 86 Metre Superyacht Concept Starlight

Darnet Design has presented its latest superyacht concept; the 86 metre Starlight.

Darnet has penned both the exterior and interior design and partnered with broker Thompson Westwood White to present the concept. The six-deck yacht features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with “elegant and tight lines”.

Key features include a touch and go helicopter landing pad, 17 square metre swimming pool on the aft main deck and beach club exceeding 100 square metres. The beach club is also equipped with two underwater observatories on the port and starboard side.

Inside the 2200GT interior there is accommodation for a total of 14 guests in seven cabins. These comprise six guest cabins on the main deck and the owner’s stateroom on the dedicated owner’s deck above. The owner’s deck is equipped with a cinema/ play room, office, his and her bathrooms, dressing room and suite forward, which looks out onto a private terrace with a spa pool.

A guest gym, spa and sauna sit on the main deck alongside the guest accommodation. The main deck can be reached via a guest lift, which runs from the main deck to the sun deck. A dumb waiter is also in service from the lower deck to the sun deck.

The crew quarters can be found on the lower deck and include accommodation, the galley, crew mess and crew lounge. A crew gym, extra storage and laundry facilities sit below on the tank deck.

14 guests can be accommodated on board Starlight

Starlight’s tender garage can accommodate two luxury tenders measuring 10 metres and eight metres, as well as three Jet Skis and additional water toys. The 4.5 metre crew tender is deployed from the foredeck.

Power will come from two engines totalling 3140hp for a cruising speed of 16 knots and max speed of 19 knots.
