Crescent Custom Yachts' 50-metre flagship Danzante Bay has been delivered. The superyacht departed from the shipyard's facilities in British Columbia on 3 March, according to BOATPro. She is now cruising the West Coast and is moored in Point Loma, San Diego.
The largest superyacht to be built in Canada, Danzante Bay was commissioned by an American owner who named her after his Mexican resort and golf course. Construction began in 2019 and the yacht is built from a composite hull bought from Christensen Yachts.
Exterior design and naval architecture is the work of Gregory C. Marshall, with interiors by British studio H2 Yacht Design that are yet to be revealed. Highlights include a sundeck spa pool, foredeck sun lounge and glass bulwarks on the upper deck offering unhindered views of the surrounding seascape. Camper & Nicholsons have been responsible for project management since January 2023.
Accommodation is for 12 guests across six staterooms within the yacht's 499GT footprint. According to the original general arrangement, the master suite is positioned forward with his and hers walk-in wardrobes and private office space, while a VIP cabin is found on the upper deck to port. An elevator connects all four decks.
Danzante Bay is the first delivery by Crescent Custom Yachts since Crescent Lady in February 2020.
