Bering Yachts has launched a full-custom explorer yacht known as Bering 121 from its facilities in Antalya, Turkey.
The 37.4-metre model strays slightly from the typical Bering style but is still equipped with a steel hull, a long range and "humongous" 42,700-litre fuel tank. Other key numbers include a 7.5-metre beam and a relatively shallow two-metre draft.
"An exclusively off-white beauty is not a usual Bering; she is a bit delicate, more elegant, and looks less brutal than our trawler-type expedition boats," explained a spokesperson.
Accommodation is across four guest cabins and quarters for seven crew, though the sky lounge (with its two sliding-door balconies) can also be converted into a VIP stateroom. The dedicated owner's deck is "a part of the main deck" and features a large galley, a main saloon with a television lounge and a 12-seater table.
"This boat is all about style and finesse," said Bering Yachts founder Alexei Mikhailov. "Having an owner-only area is important for the client, and this is what we gave him. Just imagine stepping out of the master stateroom to the owner’s deck at the bow, sitting at an open fire, enjoying the sea and the world around!"
Meanwhile, the flybridge is arranged with a large table, grill and bar adjacent to a Jacuzzi. The beach club offers an alternative lounge space with a sauna and sunbathing materials.
Boat storage can be found on the upper deck alongside a crane for launching and retrieving tenders and toys. This is also where the pilothouse, the captain's quarters and a second, smaller bar area can be found.
Bering 121 can reach a maximum speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of nine knots.
This marks the second launch by Bering this week with a third launch imminent, according to the shipyard.
