The 72-metre motor yacht Arbema has been pictured for the first time following a comprehensive, year-long refit at MB92 La Ciotat shipyard. Managed by Edmiston and Hampshire Marine, the 12-month refit project began in November 2022.
She was initially delivered in 2010 by the Italian shipyard CRN and penned by Nuvolari Lenard. Work across the 2,043 GT yacht included an overhaul of the interiors, owed to design house Rhoades Young.
"The inspiration was to modernise and brighten up the interior; the owners have a very stylish minimalist taste, and along with new artwork, she is transformed," explained Edmiston broker Charles Carveles.
Captain Matt Bryant said: "With this extensive refit, we effectively carried out 18 months of work in a year. She looks fantastic; her guest areas have been completely transformed, with practically every surface updated to provide a fresh, contemporary aesthetic."
Technical modifications incorporated all underwater works, new subflooring, new AC and upgrades to the AV system. "A lot of attention has been paid to upgrading the ‘behind the scenes’ technical areas to ensure her performance is as good as her styling," Captain Bryant explained.
Meanwhile, the exterior has been refreshed, including the hull's paint job (from grey to dark blue) and new glass railings. Her beach club was also upgraded, featuring a sit-up bar, gym area and lounge with all new tenders and toys.
Onboard features include a full-beam master suite, a generous-sized saloon, a cinema room, and a full-beam upper saloon. Accommodation is for 14 guests across six staterooms. Crew quarters are for 28.
Arbema is available for charters with Edmiston throughout the Caribbean and The Bahamas. She will be attending this year's Antigua Charter Show.
