Cantiere delle Marche (CDM) has offered a look inside its first 35-metre RJ115 explorer yacht Stellamar, following her delivery in April 2023.
Stellamar features the same design team that worked on the RJ130 with an exterior and interior by Francesco Paszkowski in collaboration with the shipyard, and longstanding partner Hydro Tec developing the naval architecture. Her sistership, Pazienza, was launched in November 2023.
While her aesthetics are well suited to Mediterranean cruising, Stellamar is also kitted out as a world-girdling explorer, with a 5,500 nautical mile range and an "invisible crane" for the launch and recovery of toys and tenders.
One of the owners – an architect herself – contributed to the interior's aesthetics. Inspired by nature, neutral colour tones have been combined with materials such as natural oak for a "welcoming atmosphere".
Stellamar was designed to emphasise the outdoors with glass bulwarks, large side walkways and an open stern. The main and upper saloons maintain a connection to the surrounding seascape through floor-to-ceiling windows that filter natural light through the interior living spaces.
Accommodation is for up to ten guests, eight within four lower deck cabins (comprised of two VIPs and two twins), while the master cabin occupies the main deck forward. The master cabin's standout feature is its en suite, made complete with sauna and Hammam.
To accessorise the space, together with Paszkowski, the owners chose notable brands, including Arpege Meridienne sofas by Christian Liaigre for the main saloon, a Poliform Saint Germain sofa in the upper saloon, Archibald armchairs by Poltrona Frau and Cassina Hola dining chairs that tuck under a Breccia Aurora marble-topped table.
Stellamar is powered by a pair of Caterpillar C18s and cruises comfortably at 12 knots, while her "purposefully designed hull geometry" and electric stabilisers keep the yacht steady when underway or at anchor.
"Throughout the years, we have showed the market that we are able to build true explorers that have both the elegance and style of a luxury yacht. The solutions we have fielded to make the RJ line meet all these requirements are once again driving CDM’s explorer yachts forward," said Vasco Buonpensiere, CEO of CDM.
Stellamar is now available to charter with West Nautical.
According to BOATPro, CDM has 10 yachts currently under construction. This includes the 30.8-metre Haze II, the successor of the 26.2-metre Haze owned by British entrepreneur Steve Rigby.
