Benetti has delivered the third unit in its B.Yond 37M series, named M.Byond. According to BOATPro, the 36.9-metre superyacht is currently anchored in Positano, Italy.
Commissioned by an owner with a "sensitivity toward consumption", the yacht has been fitted with a battery pack three times larger than previous units, allowing considerable autonomy at anchor. Stefano Righini and Pierluigi Ausonio are responsible for the series' exterior and naval architecture respectively.
M.Byond also benefits from SCR catalytic filters and a Siemens hybrid system that "ensures a reduction in CO2 and NOx emissions never recorded on a yacht of this category before", according to the shipyard. As a result, four different modes are on offer, including a full-electric mode for "zero-emission navigation".
Other highlights include a gym area and cinema room on the main deck, to fulfil the owners' request for quality family time.
Benetti currently has seven B.Yond 37M units under construction. The news follows another recent Benetti delivery – the 40.8-metre Cosmico.
