Italian shipyard Benetti has delivered the latest unit in its Oasis 40M series, Cosmico, from its shipyard in Livorno, Italy. According to BOATPro, Cosmico is currently moored near Ditella, a hamlet in the Aeolian Islands, following stopovers in Rome and Pompeii.
Designed by British studio RWD, the 40.8-metre superyacht benefits from the shipyard's trademarked Oasis Deck, which features a flat platform complete with two unfolding gunwales that form overwater balconies.
Accommodation is across five cabins, with interiors styled by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture. The layout has been heavily customised, including the repositioning of the master berth to the centre of the cabin and the outdoor dining area, which has been placed on the upper deck aft and is fitted with a quartzite-topped table.
While interior imagery is unreleased, materials include walnut wood and leather-clad panelling that replaces the lacquering seen in the original design. Oak boards also replace the model's typical teak interior flooring.
Cosmico is now available for charter with Royal Yacht International.
Benetti recently launched Dyna R, a 49.9-metre superyacht also designed with an Oasis Deck. A selection of interior renderings were recently released that exhibit the superyacht's outdoor cinema, massage room and main deck dip pool.
