Baglietto has launched its 41-metre superfast custom yacht Francesca II from its La Spezia facilities. The superyacht marks the second launch of the year for the yard and the ceremony was attended by members of the shipyard team and the yacht's owner.
Formerly known as hull 10242, Francesca II is an all-aluminium build with triple waterjet propulsion and a triple engine package. Francesco Paszkowski is responsible for the exterior design and her interiors are a collaboration between Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini. Naval architecture was completed in partnership with Bacigalupo.
The bespoke main deck layout ensures a harmonious connection between living spaces. Two sliding doors, one located aft and the other on the side provide access to the dining area and to the conversation area of the main saloon. All cabins are located on the lower deck with the master cabin amidships. The VIP cabin is forward while two guest cabins contain double, flexible sleeping arrangements.
Towards the stern are crew quarters tucked beside the engine room and directly accessible from the main deck. This space consists of a captain's cabin and two double cabins as well as galley and dinette.
“This is a unique yacht characterised by a very high level of customisation and impressive performance thanks to her triple engines and triple hydro jet propulsion system,” commented Baglietto's CCO Fabio Ermetto.
Externally, an outdoor cockpit hosts a lounge area while a sunbathing area of the aft swimming platform allows connection to the sea. The bow also holds another option for guest lounging, with a “conversation area” featuring expansive seating tucked into the front of the layout encouraging privacy. Up on the flybridge is a second pilot station accompanied by a relaxing alfresco area.
Francesca II can reach an impressive maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.
She is classified with ABS and also features a tender garage aft opening to one side.
