Baglietto Launches 40 Metre Yacht Hull 10232

18 June 2020 • Written by Miranda Blazeby

Italian yard Baglietto has launched its 40 metre all-aluminium superyacht known as Hull 10232.

Fully customised, the yacht was launched on June 17 at the yard’s La Spezia shipyard. It is the first launch for the yard following the coronavirus lockdown in Italy.

Commissioned by an American owner, the yacht features exterior design by Horacio Bozzo and Achille Salvagni.

Built on a completely new naval platform to match the owner’s vision, the yacht’s exterior is characterised by distinct, modern features and a straight bow.

Part of Baglietto’s full custom line, the yacht will be powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Acert D engines for a top speed of 18 knots.

Meanwhile, Baglietto has another three superyachts under construction at its La Spezia yard. These include a 54 metre yacht with exterior design again by Horacio Bozzo and interiors by Hot Lab, a third 48 metre T-Line sistership of Andiamo and Silver Fox underway for a South American owner, and a 38 metre yacht set for delivery in 2022.
