Italian shipyard Baglietto has delivered the sixth hull in its DOM 133 series, christened Barbara Anne. According to BOATPro, she is now en route to Malta. In April 2024, the 40-metre yacht was launched at the Carrara harbour in the presence of her owner.
Sold by Northrop & Johnson Fort Lauderdale, Barbara Anne has an exterior design by Stefano Vafiadis and benefits from floor-to-ceiling windows and side balconies on the upper deck. The main deck ventilation ducts have been moved outside, so that the main saloon can feature full glazing on the left side for a bright, airy communal space.
Two pools are found on board. The first stretches across two levels on the aft deck and features a customised engraving on the bottom, while up top, a sundeck pool has been "specially designed and built" for this unit.
Her Leonardo Santi-styled interiors have been inspired by the automotive world, including a colour proposal that pays tribute to the major sportscar brands. The guest cabins are designed in shades of Lamborghini orange and Ferrari red, green and blue, while the wheelhouse features a bronze-coated carbon top and grille inserts.
Other design highlights include the central staircase, which is outfitted in striped wood and LED inserts and crowned by a "magnificent" bespoke chandelier by Paolo Castelli. All indoor and outdoor furniture is by Minotti and comes in a customised fabric.
Two Caterpillar C32 engines propel Barbara Anne to a maximum speed of 17 knots.
Baglietto recently delivered the fifth DOM 133, Astera, to an American owner.
