YPI sells Heesen superyacht Calaf

19 January 2012 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

Mark Duncan at Yachting Partners International tells me of the in-house sale of Heesen’s 37.79m motor yacht Calaf which wasn’t even on the market.

Built in 1992 and always a successful charter yacht, superbly maintained and still fresh from her major hi-spec refit in 2007, Calaf becomes the second sale in the first two weeks of 2012 for YPI broker, Matt Albert who acted in both sales, this time representing both buyer and seller.

"Calaf is a wonderfully maintained Heesen,” says Matt, “offering all the renowned finish and class of one of the world’s leading Dutch builders together with the added benefits of a yacht superbly refitted with the very latest technology".

With a Frank Mulder design offering a blend of the classic with a touch of the contemporary, Calaf is both spacious and comfortable and sleeps up to 10 people in five staterooms.
