The 32 metre sailing yacht Miniskirt, listed for sale by Bill Sanderson at Palm Beach Global Yachts, has been sold in-house.
Miniskirt was built in fibreglass by Windship Yachts to a Ron Holland design and delivered in 1991. She was completely rebuilt in 2010 including a new superstructure and new equipment throughout.
Accommodation is for six to seven guests in three staterooms aft, all with en-suite marble baths. The master is full width with full Jacuzzi bath/shower and a marble vanity unit with his and her sinks. The two guest cabins feature one double bed cabin to starboard and a twin bed cabin to port with a third Pullman bunk. Both guest cabins feature walk-in, enclosed, marble showers and all cabins have entertainment centres and Samsung television screens.
Coordinated and designed by Winch Design, the interior layout has been created and decorated with ease of use and luxury as primary requisites. The general interior is based upon timber finishes employing solid woods of teak, cherry and various burls.
Sloop rigged, she performs well under sail and her 2.2 metre draft gives her access to harbours inaccessible to similar yachts of her size. Under power, twin 250hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a range of 2,000 nautical miles when cruising at eight knots.
Miniskirt was asking $4,650,000.
